Volunteers Needed – Artisans, Craftspeople…etc.

Legion Fantastique is looking for volunteers to helps us create a unique, and exciting attraction at Dickens Fair 2007! LF will be a high-profile display of the work of many talented souls!

LF is looking for people who sew, paint, draw, make graphics on their computer, etc… Because we are now in the phase of making “artifacts” for the Legion headquarters. We are starting now, because there is a lot to do!

If you would like to help us build props, costumes, etc…Wonderful! Please feel free to email me (address below) and let me know what you’d be interested in doing.

If you would like to help out, but can only devote a little bit of time to making something….That’s cool too! – please take a look at the following list and see if there is something that catches your eye! If 20 people pitched in by making one item each, the walls of LF would be full!

We are also hoping to populate a portion of LF with a bric-a-brac shelf that runs a portion of the environment. On that shelf would be a collection of various items that Phileas Fogg has accumulated from his trip around the world in 80 days. We are looking for anything from exotic hats, sculptures, vintage posters (bullfights…paris…etc), masks, puppets…etc. We are also looking for a large scale model train that we can have running around amongst these artifacts.

I will be posting a sketch of the interior soon, so the look of what we’re trying to do can be seen.

If you would like to see the “Artifact Checklist” or have any questions…ideas…comments, please feel free to email me: poverstreet@gmail.com.

Thank you all for your generous support!

-Pete Overstreet aka Mr. Phileas Fogg
